On 28 September President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received the delegation of the Yerevan City Hall headed by Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Issues related to the further deepening of ties between the two Armenian capitals were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan noted that expanding relations with the Armenian capital, which possessed great potential, would substantially boost socioeconomic development of Stepanakert and the whole Artsakh. Within this context the President welcomed the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Yerevan and Stepanakert City Halls, assessing it as a necessary legal basis for further reinforcement of interrelations.
Bako Sahakyan also handed in the “Gratitude” medal to the director of the “Nork-Marash” medical center Lida Muradyan for services rendered to the Republic of Artsakh, Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President.
