
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will meet with the Foreign Ministers of the European Union member states ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg on June 15.
According to the agenda released by the Council of the European Union, EU Foreign Ministers will hold an informal breakfast meeting with Minister Mirzoyan before the start of the Council session. The discussion comes amid the deepening partnership between Armenia and the European Union and follows a series of high-level contacts between Yerevan and Brussels.
The Foreign Affairs Council will be chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas. During the main session, EU foreign ministers will discuss Russia’s war against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, including developments involving Iran, Israel, Lebanon and Gaza, as well as EU-China relations.
Following the Foreign Affairs Council, High Representative Kaja Kallas and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty will co-chair the 11th meeting of the EU-Egypt Association Council.
