A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) visiting Armenia on a two-day trip met on May 12 with the Armenian National Assembly delegation to PACE led by Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan.
The Armenian delegation also included MPs Sona Ghazaryan, Hripsime Grigoryan, Arusyak Julhakyan, Armen Rustamyan and Armen Gevorgyan.
The visiting PACE representatives said the purpose of their trip is to observe the campaign ahead of the June 7 elections and familiarize themselves with ongoing political developments in the country.
The sides discussed issues related to Armenia’s pre-election environment and broader political processes.
