During a phone conversation on Monday, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan briefed his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, on the agreements reached in Washington on August 8.
In particular, reference was made to the initialing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the joint application regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group process and related structures, as well as the fundamental principles on the unblocking of regional communications.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude to Lavrov for his congratulations and support at this significant milestone.
The two ministers also discussed issues concerning bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Russia.
