The ongoing military developments in Iran pose a serious threat to the stability of the entire region, Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, said at a briefing with reporters today.
“When there are military operations taking place in a neighboring country, it is inherently a threat to regional stability,” Rubinyan stated. “Various scenarios can arise from this situation. I won’t speculate on what those might be, as it serves no purpose, but I can say that the government is prepared for different outcomes.”
The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs said earlier there have been no requests for relocation from Armenians in Iran and Israel.
