
UK Ambassador John Gallagher visited Gyumri to highlight UK-supported programmes and explore new partnership opportunities in the region.
He met the Shirak Governor and Gyumri Mayor to discuss regional development, business ties and youth engagement.
The Ambassador was introduced to the Armenia-UK partnership between Digital Pomegranate and UK-based SeekUnique – a successful business collaboration developing B2B solutions for creative industries. A fantastic example of UK–Armenia innovation in action!
At the Cyber Ninja programme – funded by the UK Government and implemented by UNICEF Armenia and EIF – he met participants who have gained vital skills in cybersecurity, media literacy and creativity.
At Impact Hub Gyumri and Crelab, he spoke with young entrepreneurs and displaced students using their skills in design, marketing and craftsmanship to spark community change.
At Aregak Café, the Ambassador met John Smith Trust Fellow Tigranuhi Hakobyan, whose experience in the UK inspired her to create an inclusive café and support children with disabilities.
