Armenia to deliver new batch of humanitarian aid to Syria

The Armenian Government will allocate 49 million drams to the Ministry of Internal Affairs will for provision of humanitarian aid to the Syrian population. The decision was adopted during the Government sitting today.

“Within the framework of humanitarian aid, the Government of the Republic of Armenia will provide food and medicine to people to help meet their primary socio-economic needs,” the justification for the project submitted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs states.

Armenia delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to Syria on March 21.

The cargo was transported through the Margara checkpoint on the Armenian-Turkish border.
