Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan received Stéphane Dion, the Special Envoy of Canada to Europe and the European Union.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the agenda of Armenian-Canadian relations, including various issues related to interparliamentary cooperation.
In this context, the interlocutors highlighted the programs implemented jointly with the Canadian Parliamentary Center, within the framework of which work is being carried out to exchange experience between the staffs of the parliaments of Canada and Armenia, ensuring broad cooperation between the staffs of the parliaments of the two countries.
The meeting also touched upon regional developments, the peace treaty, and other issues of mutual interest.
