Content of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement revealed to public – PM Pashinyan

The content of the draft peace treaty with Azerbaijan is clear to the public, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a Q&A session at the National Assembly.
“”I have touched on the points of the treaty on various occasions: during press conferences, speeches, and Q&A sessions. There is no issue of secrecy here, there is only a question of diplomatic ethics. I can’t just hold up that paper and list all the points,” PM Pashinyan stated.
“It is a working document. If you work with the second party, it means that at least that paper has a second beneficiary, and it is not correct to reveal it unilaterally,” PM Pashinyan said.
He noted that the document addresses the establishment of diplomatic relations, the formation of a bilateral commission to monitor the implementation of the peace agreement, mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity, the absence of territorial claims and other issues. “In other words, there is nothing unfamiliar to international diplomatic practice in the draft peace treaty,” said Pashinyan.
He emphasized that the entire content of the peace agreement, at least at the conceptual level, has been revealed to the public.
