George Clooney, who is an honorary co-chair of the Selection Committee of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity, reflected on the ongoing hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict zone.
“We hope and pray for peace as quickly and as soon as possible. It is foremost on all of our minds. It has been an honor for me to have been, from the very beginning, part of this Aurora Prize with Elie Wiesel, the late great Elie,” said George Clooney, Honorary Co-Chair of the Aurora Prize Selection Committee, during the “Gratitude in Action” event commemorating Aurora’s fifth anniversary.
