On a working visit to Tokyo, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian met with a group of Japanese businessmen.
President Sarkissian presented Armenia’s investment and competitive opportunities to businessmen, stressing that the country is open for cooperation, saying that being a member of the EAEU and working closely with the European Union, Armenia creates good opportunities for businessmen and can enter other countries’ markets.
“This is a time when Japan has an advantage in its educational, scientific and technological development, but it is also a time when small countries like Armenia can be successful. This is a high technology, mathematical modeling, artificial It is an age of intelligence. It is not necessary to have the natural resources to succeed, the human mind and experience are enough to succeed,” President Sarkissian said.
“Armenia is a country with a high educational level. it is open to the world and I hope we will have serious cooperation with Japan and Japanese companies,” he said.
“We hope to see more Japanese companies in Armenia in the near future, as well as Armenian businesses here,” the President said.
