Clamart hosts 11th annual Armenia Day Festival near Paris

The 11th annual “Armenia Day” cultural festival was held on May 23 in the town of Clamart, near Paris, bringing together officials, members of the Armenian community, and visitors for a celebration of Armenian culture and heritage.

The official opening ceremony featured remarks by France’s Delegate Minister for the Interior Jean-Didier Berger, Member of the French National Assembly Guillaume Kasbarian, Clamart Mayor Yves Coscas, Deputy Mayor Jacqueline Minassian, and Counselor of the Armenian Embassy in France Davit Asoyan.

The speakers highlighted the importance of Armenian-French ties and the role of cultural initiatives in strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The festival’s cultural program featured performances by Armenian-French music and dance groups. A variety of creative and recreational activities were also organized, including open chess games and opportunities for visitors to meet Armenian authors.
