EU’s Kallas to visit Azerbaijan after EPC Summit in Yerevan

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas will leave Armenia for Azerbaijan on May 5.

In Baku, Kallas is scheduled to hold a series of high-level bilateral meetings, including talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Kallas visits Yerevan to participates in the meeting of the European Political Community.

The EPC meeting will be followed by the first-ever EU-Armenia Summit. Kallas will take part in a leaders’ meeting hosted by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with the participation of European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

On May 5, Kallas will also participate in the EU-Armenia Summit at leaders’ level.
