No threat to Syunik: Armenian PM assures there will be no war

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that a meeting of the Security Council was held in connection with the situation in Iran, but no official statement was issued following the session.

Speaking to reporters in Parliament, Pashinyan emphasized that the meeting was not convened due to any threat to the Syunik Province, calling such claims “provocative and unsubstantiated.”

“These kinds of statements create unnecessary concern and panic among the citizens of Armenia,” he warned.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on the text of a peace treaty. There will be no new war between Armenia and Azerbaijan; there will be peace,” Pashinyan asserted.
