PM Pashinyan meets new IMF Mission Chief to Armenia

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Armenia, Aleksandr Timin.

The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Timin on his new role and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation with the IMF in support of Armenia’s economic development and stability.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the programs being implemented within the framework of Armenia–IMF collaboration and reviewed upcoming steps in that context.

They also exchanged views on the progress of ongoing reforms in Armenia, the financial sector, efforts to improve the investment climate, stimulate economic activity, and mitigate existing risks.
