Massachusetts Governor Maura T. Healey has officially declared April as Armenian American Heritage Month, encouraging all residents of the Commonwealth to take part in honoring this important observance and we interpret this as a perfect time to visit the Armenian Museum in April!
This proclamation was initiated by high school student Anahit Marutyan.
“Armenian Americans have made invaluable contributions to the cultural, social, and economic landscape of Massachusetts, enriching the state with their traditions, values, and entrepreneurial spirit,” the proclamation reads.
“By recognizing the immense challenges and sacrifices the Armenian people have endured, we reaffirm that Armenian culture is an integral part of American culture, influencing all aspects of life,” it notes.
