A passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines on the Baku-Grozny route crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan, according to local media reports.
Flight J28243 declared an emergency before crashing according to the Flightradar24 data.
There were 67 passengers and five crew on board, APA news agency reports.
Preliminary reports suggested that there are survivors, Kazakhstan’s emergency ministry said.
It is not yet known what caused the crash.
