Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Malta.
The interlocutors touched upon activities aimed at further development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Austria, as well as prospects for deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of continued support from EU member states on issues such as the dialogue on visa liberalization and democratic reforms, while also informing about discussions within Armenian society regarding further cooperation with the EU.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Alexander Schallenberg exchanged views on regional developments.
Minister Mirzoyan reaffirmed Armenia’s position on the importance of signing the treaty on normalization of relations with Azerbaijan within the shortest timeframe.
