Georgian Parliament approves composition of new Government

The Georgian Parliament on Thursday voted to approve the composition of the country’s new Cabinet following last month’s parliamentary election, Georgia’s Public TV informs.

The government proposed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was approved by 86 votes in favor, with no opposition MPs present.

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Maka Botchorishvili
Minister of Justice: Anri Okhanashvili
Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture: Davit Songulashvili
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development: Levan Davitashvili
Minister of Defense: Irakli Chikovani
Minister of Finance: Lasha Khutsishvili
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure: Irakli Karseladze
Minister of Internal Affairs: Vakhtang Gomelauri
Minister of Education, Science, and Youth: Aleksandre Tsuladze
Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Protection: Mikheil Sarjveladze
State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality: Tea Akhvlediani
Minister of Culture and Sports: Tinatin Rukhadze.
