The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to India, Vahagn Afyan, participated in the opening ceremony of the third “World Food India 2024” exhibition, to be held from September 19 to 22 at the “Pragati Maidan” exhibition complex in New Delhi, the capital of India.
For the first time, Armenia participated in the event with two national pavilions, coordinated by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia. During his visit, Ambassador Afyan engaged in discussions with representatives from various Armenian companies and explored the showcased products, including alcoholic beverages, drinks, and processed food.
During the exhibition’s official opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by Pralhad Joshi, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food, Public Distribution, and New & Renewable Energy; Chirag Paswan, Minister of Food Processing Industries; and Ravneet Singh Bittu, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Railways.
The “World Food India 2024” exhibition features several countries, national pavilions, companies, and trade networks, providing a platform for business meetings and collaborations.
