If Armenia falls, the world will fail, first Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Luis Moreno Ocampo says in an interview with Public Radio of Armenia.
Mr. Ocampo said the issue of the Nagorno Karabakh Genocide should be raised during the COP29 conference in Baku and urges Azerbaijani authorities to release the Armenian hostages before the event slated for mid-November.
“If President Aliyev wants a peaceful and calm meeting in November, he should release the hostages before that. If not, there will be a mess,” the former ICC Prosecutor said.
Luis Moreno Ocampo notes that the invitation to work for Armenia is an honor and adds that “the fight for Armenia is a fight for civilization.”
