The animated documentary film Aurora’s Sunrise directed by Inna Sahakyan (a joint production by Armenia, Germany and Lithuania) will be on display in Melbourne and Sydney from February 16 to March 7, in the framework of “Europa! Europa!” international film festival.
The film is a true story about a 14-year-old Armenian girl who survived the Genocide, then came to the US and became a Hollywood silent film star. The film won the “Best Animated Film” award at the “Asia Pacific Screen Awards”. It was presented in the competition programs of Annecy International Film Festival, as well as Hamburg, Lisbon, Los Angeles Film Festivals.
