Opposition gives Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan until noon on Tuesday to resign

The opposition has given Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan until noon on Tuesday to resign.

The 16 opposition parties that have formed a Movement for Salvation of the Motherland held a rally at Freedom Square today. The participants then marched to the Prime Minister’s residence to hand the ultimatum.

The opposition pledges protests and acts of disobedience across Armenia should the Prime Minister fail to resign.

The forces suggest to form a transition government and have picked Vazgen Manukyan as their nominee for Prime Minister.
