First Armenian-Polish joint military production venture opens in Armenia

The first Armenian-Polish joint military production venture “Lubawa-Armenia” was opened in the city of Charentsavan today.

The solemn opening ceremony was attended by Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, the Ambassador of Poland to Armenia Zdzisław Raczyński, Member of the Polish Senate, ex-Minister for National Defense Bogdan Klich.

Minister Seyran Ohanyan said the company opens a new page in the history of Armenian-Polish cooperation in the field of defense. He expressed confidence that in a short period of time the venture would expand its production and would enter the market of the Eurasian Economic Union and other international markets.

Minister Ohanyan handed Military Cooperation Medals and precious gifts to a number of Polish officials and the leadership of the Company.
