The Presidents of Armenia and France Serzh Sargsyan and Francois Hollande held a tête-à-tête meeting at the Presidential Palace after which they were joined by the delegations of the two countries.
President Sarsgayn awarded his French counterpart with an Order of Glory for his contribution to the reinforcement and development of the traditional Armenian-French friendship, his personal input in the deepening and expansion of cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of France.
Francois Hollande, in turn, awarded President Serzh Sargsyan with an Order of Merit of France.
A number of documents targeted at the development and deepening of cooperation between the two countries were signed after the meting of the Presidents. The results of the talks were summed up at a joint press conference.
