Spokesman for the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan hosted the delegation of the Armenian-British Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group headed by John Witingdale at the NKR Permanent Representation in Yerevan.
During the meeting Mr. Ghulyan briefed the guests on Artsakh’s position on the Karabakh conflict.
The recent incidents at the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan and the permanent bellicose statements of Azerbaijan are evidences of that country’s policy of preventing the peaceful settlement of the conflict, Ghulyan said.
The Speaker stressed that final resolution of the conflict is impossible without the immediate participation of Arsakh.
The parties agreed to continue the discussions both in Stepanakert and London.
