A video honoring the life of Hrant Dink made by Jon Del Sesto will be included in Khatchadour Tankian’s album, “Inchbes Moranank,” lead singer of the System Of A Down Serj Tankian informs in a Facebook post.
”Hrant was a Turkish Armenian writer and editor assassinated in Turkey in 2007 after appearing in the documentary Screamers (with Soad) in which he was interviewed about Turkish denial of the Armenian Genocide and the case against him under the draconian Article 301 in Turkey,” Tankian writes.
”Recent ties to his killer weave a very sordid web of collusion among certain nationalists and law enforcement personnel. To this day, Turkey has a horrible human rights record and one of the highest rates of incarceration of journalists in the world,” Tankian added.
