The meeting focused on the progress of the TRIP program, with both sides emphasizing its importance for advancing tourism and modernizing regional infrastructure across Armenia.

Papoyan and Zarcone agreed to continue close cooperation to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the project’s planned activities.

The TRIP program envisages investments totaling €120 million to support the development of tourism clusters in Goris, Areni, Jermuk, Yeghegis, Dvin, Gyumri, and Dilijan.

The initiative aims to boost wine, health and wellness, adventure, cultural, educational, and ecotourism, enhancing Armenia’s appeal as a tourist destination while strengthening the competitiveness of its regions.
