
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
The Prime Minister welcomed the minister’s visit to Armenia and highlighted the steady development of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Armenia and Georgia. According to Nikol Pashinyan, there is significant untapped potential in bilateral relations, and its realization is greatly facilitated by reciprocal visits and active high-level contacts.
He also underscored the importance of joint initiatives between the interior ministries of the two countries, particularly in combating crime and illicit drug trafficking, as well as in further strengthening internal security.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili noted that he had held productive discussions with his Armenian counterparts, including on the implementation of joint projects. In his view, these initiatives will provide fresh impetus to bilateral cooperation and enhance the two countries’ ability to respond more effectively to existing challenges.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and discussed further steps to deepen collaboration across various areas.
