Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has offered condolences over the death of Pope Francis.
“Deeply saddened with the passing of Pope Francis. His Holiness’s outstanding leadership to have peaceful and just world cannot be forgotten,” PM Pashinyan said in a post on X.
“I extend my condolences to all believers all over the world for this great loss,” he added.
Pope Francis has died at the age of 88, after 12 years as spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
His death has set in motion the centuries-old process of electing a new Pope.
