From today on, only the Border Guard Troops of the Republic of Armenia will carry out border control at the Agarak border crossing point on the Armenia-Iran state border, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a Facebook post.
The Prime Minister thanked the Border Guard Troops of the Russian Federation who had been carrying out border control at the Agarak border crossing point since Armenia’s independence.
“And I wish our border guards, who have assumed border control from today, success and good service,” PM Pashinyan said.
