Yerevan’s participation in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICU) directly harms Russian-Armenian relations, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said t a briefing with journalists today.
The diplomat noted that the attitude of the Russian Federation to the ICC is “well known.”
“Yerevan’s participation in the Rome Statute against the background of the quasi-warrants issued in The Hague for the arrest of a number of Russian officials directly damages Russian-Armenian relations,” Zakharova said.
