Armenia is yet to make a decision on whether to participate in the COP29 conference that got under way in Baku today, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan told reporters today.
“We have not made a decision yet. When there is a decision, we will inform in due time,” Kostanyan said.
He reiterated that the decision on participation in the UN Climate Conference will depend on the dynamics of the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations.
The Deputy Foreign Minister said Armenia has received the 11th edition of the draft peace treaty from Azerbaijan. He said the parties still differ on a number of issues, but added that he sees an opportunity for rapprochement of the positions.
