TUMO to open a center in Buenos Aires

TUMO Center for Creative Technologies has announced the upcoming opening of its first center in South America! Set to launch in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in June 2025, this center will be located in the innovative Centro Metropolitano de Diseño, thanks to a successful partnership with the Ministry of Education of Buenos Aires.

Jorge Macri, Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires, and Mercedes Miguel, Minister of Education, hosted TUMO founders Sam and Sylva Simonian, alongside Chief Development Officer Pegor Papazian, at the Metropolitan Design Center in Buenos Aires, TUMO’s new home in the city. Together, they toured the new facilities and participated in the official signing ceremony for the opening of TUMO Buenos Aires.

The Buenos Aires TUMO Center represents a significant milestone in TUMO’s global expansion, bringing its unique education model to South America for the very first time. Once operational, the center will provide up to 3,000 teenagers the chance to dive into learning areas like Computer Programming, AI, Animation, Game Development, Music Production, Robotics, Filmmaking, Graphic Design, 3D Modeling, and more. TUMO Buenos Aires will be a space where teens can build future-proof skills essential for success in the tech-driven world.

This new center is part of TUMO’s commitment to expanding its international footprint, which already includes locations in prominent cities across Europe and the Middle East. Currently, TUMO operates in Paris, Berlin, Tirana, Mannheim, Coimbra, Lyon, Lviv, Marseille, Beirut, and Lisbon, reflecting its dedication to making high-quality creative and technical education accessible to teenagers worldwide. In addition to Buenos Aires, TUMO is excited to announce plans for new centers in Montevideo, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Luanda, Kutaisi, Takasaki, and several cities across Germany, including Hirschaid, Lüdenscheid, Saarbrücken, Frankfurt, and Cologne.

“With TUMO in our city, we’re going to give our youth the opportunity to receive the best education, so they can build their future, which begins today. With TUMO, new generations gain a tool to learn, create, and dream big,” mentioned Jorge Macri, Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires.

“It’s not often that we lay the cornerstone of the first TUMO center in a new continent, or a new hemisphere! The announcement of TUMO Buenos Aires is a very proud moment, and I’m so happy we are doing it with the perfect partner, the Government of Buenos Aires, and in the presence of our founders Sam and Sylva Simonian, knowing that this will be only the first of many TUMO centers in this city, in Argentina, and in Latin America as a whole,” said TUMO Chief Development Officer Pegor Papazian.

The Buenos Aires TUMO Center is just the beginning of TUMO’s journey in South America, with plans for additional centers already in motion to meet the high demand for innovative educational programs. This expansion embodies TUMO’s vision of transforming education by making it accessible, engaging, and relevant to the needs of today’s youth, no matter where they are in the world.
