On Friday, November 1st, 2024, Luis Moreno Ocampo, the first prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), contacted His Holiness Catholicos Aram I by phone to discuss matters concerning Artsakh in the light of COP29 to be held in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Ocampo provided an update on his ongoing efforts and emphasized the critical role His Holiness plays through his international connections.
In response, His Holiness Aram I, expressing deep appreciation for Mr. Ocampo’s work, shared his own ongoing efforts aligned with this mission, especially regarding securing the release of the Armenian political prisoners and POWs held captive in Azerbaijan.
