Iran’s Depity Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi has reiterated the country’s principled stance on inviolability of international borders.
“Just received a greeting phone call from VahanKostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia. I reiterated our strong desire to strengthen relations with all our neighbors. I also expressed our principled position on inviolibility of international borders. I gladly accepted his invitation to visit Yerevan,” Majid Takht Ravanchi said in a post on X.
On Thursday Vahan Kostanyan extended congratulation to Takht Ravanchi on his new appointment.
“Appreciated Iran’s support to Armenia’s territorial integrity. Exchanged views on recent developments on this regard,” Kostanyan said оn social media after the phone call.
