Explosion in non-operational smelter of Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant has left one person killed, the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Interior informs.
The Crisis Management Center of Kotayk Rescue Department was alerted about the blast at 4:49 pm today.
Fire engines and rescue groups were rushed to the site.
According to preliminary data, six people were hospitalized, one of them identified as E. H. (born in 1978) died in hospital.
