The Armenia-Iran border is the border of peace and friendship, and no force can break it, Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan said at a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani.
The Ambassador reiterated the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the immutability of international borders, opposition to any geopolitical change and support for the territorial integrity of its neighbors.
The Secretary of the Security Council expressed his gratitude for supporting the territorial integrity of Armenia and the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the immutability of international borders. He emphasized that the border of Armenia and Iran is the border of peace, friendship and peaceful coexistence.
“Armenia attaches special importance to relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and no force can break the territorial connection between Iran and Armenia,” Grigoryan said.
He emphasized that any infrastructure unblocking in the territory of Armenia will take place under the control of the internal institutions of Armenia and within the framework of its territorial sovereignty.
