Armenia beat Latvia 4-1 in the first Nations League match on Saturday,
Armenia’s Vahan Bichakhchyan opened the score in the 6th minute with a left footed shot from the canter of the box to the high center of the goal.
The score leveled after Georgi Harutyunyan’s own goal in the 9th minute.
Armenia restored the advantage after an own goal by Kaspars Dubra, Latvia, in the 35th minute.
Lucas Zelarayán scored the third goal for Armenia shortly into the second half. Eduard Spertsyan sealed the score in the 86th minute with a right footed shot from very close range to the bottom left corner.
Armenia will next face North Macedonia in an away match on September 10.
