Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has reiterated Italy’s commitment to stability and prosperity of the Caucasus region.
At a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Prime Minister also expressed support for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, with the goal of achieving lasting peace.
Meloni highlighted that the European Union’s role forms an integral part of this process and that cooperation with the EU can open new opportunities for the entire region, also in terms of connectivity.
