At least four killed in US high school shooting

Four people have died and nine others are injured after a gunman opened fire at Apalachee High School in the US state of Georgia.

One person has been arrested, authorities confirm. The shooter who opened fire inside Apalachee High school is believed to be a 14-year-old male, a law enforcement source told CNN.

Police say students are being reunited with their families after the “evil” attack.

The school is located about 72km north-east of the state capital, Atlanta.

US President Joe Biden says he is “mourning the deaths of those whose lives were cut short due to more senseless gun violence.”
