Armenia’s NPP to resume work after shutdown caused by lightning

From 14:05, the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant has been reconnected to the grid, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure informs. The NPP will start working at full capacity in the coming hours.

The Armenian Nuclear Power Plant was disconnected from the power system at around 9:55 p.m. on Friday.

The emergency shutdown was caused by lightening strike.
