The village of Khtsaberd, occupied by Azerbaijan as a result of the 2020 war, has been completely destroyed.
Nagorno Karabakh Human Right Defender’s Office has shared recent satellite imagery showing the majority of the buildings, homes and stables for livestock destroyed.
“As in other settlements of Artsakh under occupation, there is evidence of large-scale sacking and looting of the property belonging to the people of Artsakh, evicted from their homes by Azerbaijan,” the Ombudsman’s Office says.
