Armenian students won 4 gold and 1 silver medals at the 31st International Mathematics Competition for University Students held in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria on August 5-11.
The event featured 401 students from 78 universities of the world.
Vahagn Hovhannisyan, Hayk Karapetyan, Arman Fahradyan and Ruben Hambardzumyan representing Yerevan State University won gold medals, while Hamlet Petrosyan won a silver medal.
Yerevan State University was the 8th in the team standings.
The Armenian was led by Karen Keryan. Coached by Karen Keryan, Vazgen Mikayelyan, Albert Gevorgyan and Tigran Hakobyan.
