Had a good meeting with Serdat Kilic on the Armenia-Türkiye border, Armenia’s Special Representative for normalization of relations with Turkey said in a post on X after the meeting on the shared border.
“Reconfirmed the agreements reached previously and agreed on new confidence building measures, including assessing the technical requirements to enable functioning of the railroad connection between our countries,” Rubunyan said.
“We held our fifth round of meetings in the border region between Turkey and Armenia, on the Armenian side in the morning and on the Turkish side in the afternoon. We discussed all aspects of the normalization process and the possibilities for further advancement with a constructive understanding,” Kilic said, in turn.
