Due to his exceptional achievements and great contribution to wrestling (both as an athlete and as a coach), Levon Julfalakyan has been included in the United World Wrestling Hall of Fame, his son Arsen Julfalakyan informs.
He is the first from the Republic of Armenia to be granted the honor. The official award ceremony will take place on August 5 at the Wrestling house in Paris.
Levon Julfalakyan is an Olympic, World, and European Champion and was merited Honored Master of Sports of the USSR in 1988.
