On July 11, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, received Fan Yong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
Emphasizing the process of continuous deepening of Armenian-Chinese relations, Alen Simonyan thanked the ambassador for his contribution in this matter.
Ambassador Fan Yong, in turn, thanked the RA NA Speaker for effective interaction and cooperation and assured that the Armenian-Chinese relations are on the right track and their development is very important for China.
Alen Simonyan highly appreciated the position of the People’s Republic of China in defense of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
The interlocutors also discussed various issues related to the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional issues and Armenian-Chinese cooperation.
