French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has welcomed the ratification of the Rome Statute by Armenia.
“From Yerevan, I welcome the decision of the Armenian Parliament to ratify the Rome Statute and thus allow Armenia to become a state party to the International Criminal Court,” Minister Colonna said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“The fight against impunity for crimes is a condition for peace and stability,” she added.
The Armenian National Assembly voted 60 to 22 to ratify the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
