
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit 40 km southwest of Shamakh city in Azerbaijan on September 3, at 20:36 local time (16:36 GMT).
According to the Seismic Protection Servive of the Armenian Ministry of Interior, the quake was registered at the depth of 10 km and the intensity reached 6-7 at the epicentet.
The earthquake was felt in Artsakh.
