U.S. Embassy Yerevan welcomes Ambassador James C. O’Brien to Armenia June 29-30. Ambassador O’Brien currently serves as the Special Coordinator for Sanctions in the Office of Sanctions Coordination, at the U.S. Department of State.
During his visit to Armenia, Ambassador O’Brien will meet with Armenian government officials, including the Prime Minister, to discuss cooperation on U.S. sanctions and express appreciation for Armenia’s continued commitment to upholding U.S. sanctions. He will also visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.
